Empower Women, Create Impact: Scarf Sewing Workshop

"Empower Women, Create Impact: Scarf Sewing Workshop” was co-organized by SoGlue and Rhys Workshop, a social enterprise specializing in designing inclusive clothing, and committed to providing training and local job opportunities for underprivileged women in the community.

Throughout the workshop, participants had the chance to visit a Hong Kong-based small-scale garment factory that produces locally-made goods. They also had the opportunities to operate sewing machines and gain first-hand experience of the daily training and work of female trainees. Additionally, they learnt practical hand-sewing skills from underprivileged ladies and personalized their own scarves with unique embroidered design.
